Descriptions of the construction progress of my new Florida model railroad featuring the line from Lakeland to Punta Gorda. Originally a journal of RV trips throughout the United States and Canada with Patti and Bob. Also photo documentation of the progress on my Maryland model railroad, the Allegheny and Shenandoah, a mythical class one line connecting Strasburg VA. with Elkins WV.

Some racy railroad photos
I have been officially retired for 2 full days (what a hoot) so I've been workin' on the railroad. Scenery at the Seneca Rocks sawmill scene is now fairly complete with log pond, local businesses of various levels of repute, and depot. My operation group is scheduled to come on Thursday for a hot day of operations (we don't call it playing with trains:) so I am crashing to get the thing working again before they arrive. We leave for Florida in about four weeks so I'm trying to get the railroad out of my system first.

AREN'T YOU GOING TO PUT SOME CLOTHES ON THESE WOMEN!!!!
Uh - I'm not certain that this is a family-friendly display any longer. I can tell you what my kids would say:
Kid 1 - 8 yr old - 'Gross'!
Kid 2 - 12-yr old - 'Someone help me put my eyes back in.'
That said - 'Wicked Wanda's' needs a big ol' flashing neon sign - and some faint trombone music in the background.
