Descriptions of the construction progress of my new Florida model railroad featuring the line from Lakeland to Punta Gorda. Originally a journal of RV trips throughout the United States and Canada with Patti and Bob. Also photo documentation of the progress on my Maryland model railroad, the Allegheny and Shenandoah, a mythical class one line connecting Strasburg VA. with Elkins WV.

Days 12 and 13
Very few boats were seen on our cruise. This foggy one was off North Carolina on the way back. Their route must be off the normal shipping lanes.
The clown and finally on our last evening a "heart". Wonder what brought that on:)

Day 11 - a very special day at sea
The day started with swans and rose petals on the bed and progressed to the chapel.
A kiss and two rings and it was complete.
Day 10 - excursion ashore
Some great scenery and some even greater vantage points from which to enjoy it.
An old fort and just one of a hundred great beaches.
And last but not least the signature airport over the beach scene:)
Day 10 - St. Maartin Traffic Jam
Two huge Celebrity boats plus two smaller craft and a fuel tender. A real traffic jam. We haven't seen more that two other boats the whole cruise. St Maartin is definitely where its happening.
Two more animals from recent days, a gorilla and a cat!

Antigua Zoo
What a zoo! There must be 500 animals here. Octupi, seals, turtles, elephants, dogs, orangs, etc. What a hoot!
Day 9 - Antigua Harbor
The harbor at Antigua is a very interesting place. A beautiful approach followed by industrial scenes at water's edge. There is what appears to be an old fort on the south shore of the entrance.

Day 8 - Martinique
The "harbor" is open to the sea on two sides and makes for a rather precarious docking. The island is beautiful with a dash of French flavor. Our stay here is very short, perhaps because of the openness of the berth.
