The winding road
Here is a shot of route 385 as it winds through the hills in somewhere in northwest Nebraska or southwest South Dakota. We got off I-80 is Ogallala (yes really, you can't make this stuff up) then drove 300 miles north to Hill City SD to a KOA campground just outside Mt Rushmore. You can see the road disappearing in the upper left of the photo. Below are some shots of the scenery along the way.
