Quaint Ketchikan with its touristy main square to its fish ladders and harbor seals was a welcome relief from the the narrow inside passage and the gloomy fog. We took a duck tour in the craft dwarfed by the mammoth Oosterdam at the dock. Float planes abound in Alaska. There must have been 30 in the immediate vicinity of the boat.
