Descriptions of the construction progress of my new Florida model railroad featuring the line from Lakeland to Punta Gorda. Originally a journal of RV trips throughout the United States and Canada with Patti and Bob. Also photo documentation of the progress on my Maryland model railroad, the Allegheny and Shenandoah, a mythical class one line connecting Strasburg VA. with Elkins WV.

Chainsaw Carvers
Chainsaw carvers produce some wonderful art here in the northwest. We first experienced a chainsaw otter in Morro Bay and since then we have been looking for something for the front of the house. This studio caught our eye and these dolphins are beautiful. Carved from cedar they are designed to live outdoors. Unfortunately this particular one was $6500 and we were required to let it remain right were it was:) (shipping it from here to Maryland would be another fairly large bill so photos will have to do:)
