Descriptions of the construction progress of my new Florida model railroad featuring the line from Lakeland to Punta Gorda. Originally a journal of RV trips throughout the United States and Canada with Patti and Bob. Also photo documentation of the progress on my Maryland model railroad, the Allegheny and Shenandoah, a mythical class one line connecting Strasburg VA. with Elkins WV.

Coeur D'Alene
A quiet respite before a long drive to Yellowstone tomorrow. This is a photo of the Spokane river shot from next to the rig. We came back through customs yesterday on Rt95 in Idaho. It took 45 minutes. There were only ten cars in front of us. Eleventy seven truck loads of cows went by while we waited. I wonder how the officers knew it wasn't a bunch of terrorists in cow suits? I'm sure it wasn't terrorists hiding UNDER the cows so we can rule that out. Also pretty sure they weren't riding on top of the cows. But... there could have been 500 thinly disguised boys in each one of those trucks. What's eleventy seven times 500 anyway:)
